Homeschool Planner Generator
Every effective homeschool runs on rhythm rather than rigidity — and the weekly planner is where that rhythm lives. Whether you follow a structured curriculum, unit studies, or child-led learning, a visible weekly plan reduces decision fatigue, shows children what to expect, and creates the paper trail many families like to keep for their records.

About this homeschool planner tool
This free homeschool planner generator builds a clean weekly schedule around your subjects and your week. Add the subjects you teach (or pick from common ones), choose which days you school and how many lesson blocks per day, add student names, and print the result — or download it as an A4 PDF for your homeschool binder.
Veteran homeschoolers suggest planning loops, not lockstep: assign subjects to blocks but treat the block as “what comes next,” not “what happens at 9:00.” Leave one block free each day for rabbit holes — the unplanned deep-dives are often where the best learning happens. Review the week every Friday and adjust; the planner serves the learning, not the other way round.
Frequently asked questions
Can I customise the subjects in the planner?
Yes. Add any subjects you like — from maths and phonics to forest school and violin. Reorder or remove them, and the weekly grid updates instantly.
Does the planner work for multiple children?
Yes. Add each student’s name to the planner header, or generate a separate planner per child with different subjects and schedules.
Can I choose which days we homeschool?
Yes. Pick any combination of days — 4-day weeks, weekend co-ops, whatever fits your family — and the schedule grid adapts.
Is this planner suitable for record keeping?
The printed weekly plans work well as a simple record of intended work. Many families file each week’s planner in a binder alongside completed work samples. Requirements vary by country and state, so check your local home-education guidance.
Can I print it or save it as a PDF?
Both. Print the planner directly from the page or download an A4 PDF — generate a fresh one each week or reuse the same layout all term.
